Hello! I am finally getting my first vintage washer! It's a late 70s (I think) filter flo in almond. I checked it out yesterday. Looks to be in good condition. It's missing the mini basket and pan. Would love to buy from someone who has one laying around. Anyone know the specific year? I'm hoping it works as the gentleman said he had used it a few times when he bought the house, but had his own washer he brought. I will test on Sunday when I go get it. If not, I may need advice on anything that needs to be fixed.

Looks to be around 1978. The first two letters in the serial number will denote the month and year of manufacture. Post them and we can decode for you.

One of my best friends from college and new wife acquired that washer & matching dryer when they bought a town house in Houston in 1978 or when they moved to Dallas in 1979 and needed their own washer & dryer. It washed for a family of 5, including diapers form that time until replaced with a 70 series shredmore in 1988 or 1989.
