This is the actual audio from an original Magnavox/EV cartridge. Impressive! Even with a worn out styrene record.

HI-Q cassette decks

here are the audiophile grade cassette decks i have:
1977 pioneer
1977 nakamichi
1978 tandberg TCD 310 MK2,3motor with induction main drive
1981 akai GX-F60R -really good sound and quality
1982 3M wollensak-made in usa,including transport.mono.
1982 studer revox B710 MK2-4 motor all DD, my fave.
1985 studer revox b215-the best ever made according to many
1985 uher CR240-german battery portable
I like the realism and accuracy of analog sound,so i still
use a lot of cassettes-the revoxes have the best transports
bar none, but i'd say the akai is at least equal in sound
quality to the revoxes, havn't heard any reveiws of the akai
GX-F60R but it is really good.
