That's a very skilled application of a vintage pattern called "Cracked Ice". That might be the original finish on the stove but likely not the icebox. I remember that contact paper and Formica from the Sixties had that pattern in different colors.
I believe that to be the original finish on both items. If you look at the refrigerator part that has the Norge nameplate, you will see that it is porcelain enamel that has chipped in a couple spots. I was in an antique store several years ago that had a gas range in that enamel finish, but in a pink beige color. Green and ivory was a popular combination on items for a short time in the mid 1930's.

Yes it was! On both sides of the pond you found green/ivory combination in home furnishings, appliances, interior decoration... So much so that when one sees that combination or even just shades of either in vintage anything almost at once go to 1930's.
