How positively vomit-making

Once I thought about taking a beater of a car, and "restore" it, with deliberate different color doors, inside trim, different wheel treatment for each wheel, a rolling sampler. Kelvinator and some other company, Westinghouse-yeah, two toned their fridges for a year or two, that worked, but this? Urrrrrpp......

I'm sure that someone will find this attractive, just not me! I would have to take some vintage 60's psychedelic drugs just to be in the same room with that "thing".

It does look like it was pieced together from odds and ends. All white, or all green, that would have been much nicer. I'm sure one could find a one-color (white) stove of that make and vintage in equal or better shape, as well.

Ewww!

Custom colouring aside, I'd be willing to bet that thing's been rode hard and put away wet any number of times.

Look at the condition of the counters and cabinetry to either side of the range- this does not appear to be the kitchen of a careful person. I don't think I'd want to be the next owner of anything I see.

not for 500 bucks

but somehow I don't find it too objectionable. It's no Maytag, but it's cute - and it should get points for being durable.

Everybody's gotta be some color, or 3.

I like that.

Hey, Bundtboy. I haven't forgotten you or the records, just been distracted lately: sick for a week and then the hurricane.

I just got a Magnavox console record player today from a friend. It plays 16, 33 , 45, and 78 RPM. Everything works. I'm guessing late 50s or 60s era, model number is so worn I can't read it. Maybe I'll find something when I take the back off. It is definitely a tube unit - 15 sec. delay before sound starts to come from the speakers. Although it is a console unit, there is no radio, or storage for records.
