Found these on Ebay. Little pricey at $3,000. Only 3 photos. Here is the add description.

RARE VINTAGE LADY KENMORE WASHER AND DRYER. THEY WERE REMOVED FROM AN ESTATE. i BELIEVE THEY ARE WORKING WILL BE CHECKING SOON. JUST WANT TO GET THEM ON THE MARKET. THEY DO HAVE SOME SMALL CHIPS ON PORCELAIN . THE WASHER DOES HAVE SMALL HAIR LINE CRACK IN PLASTIC BY NOB AS SEEN IN PICTURE. STILL VERY NICE SET. DRYER DOES NOT HAVE CORD. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE EMAIL . I COULD PALLETIZE THEM IF SOMEONE WANTS TO ORGANIZE FREIGHT. FOR A FEE.

$3,000.00?

$3,000.00 is over the top expensive for a vintage washer and dryer. If it were in its original box, it would be worth it. Whoever is selling that '57 Kenmore washer and dryer is going to have it for some time. I could probably find a classic car that is in decent shape for $3,000.00, or a newer car that is 10 years old that has low mileage for $3,000.00.

But would a car satisfy a longing for a matched washer and dryer set and would these help if you needed a car? It is largely a matter of what you want or need; one is not a substitute for the other. Price-wise, the seller will probably be forced to come down. The pair would not be commanding the initial high asking price if they were white.

knobs

Looks to me from the picture the washer is missing 2 knobs.I can tell I have that washer in white but its rough. The basket and filter are pristine though that is half the battle.
