"Vintage" Russell Hobbs Kettle In USA

I normally only post UK stuff but in my looking around I came across this one in California. Several US members have discussed these before hence the thread to highlight it.

I owned a very similar one (UK voltage of course) myself in the early 1990s. This is an updated version of the classic kettle and is quite useful in that it is cordless so you can fill it up without removing the cord from the socket.

They might have cleaned it up a bit though

I have similar ones but with the cord at the back. a newer one with a rectangular power cord connector and a single piece white handle and the and older ones with the early-style round connector but still white handles (the two pictured).

 

 

I haven't seen those with black handles here. 

 

I'm missing the power cord with the round connector for one of mine and I can't find replacements.

I also have a made-in-China Russel Hobbs that's just a few years old with a base like the one in your link (which I like) and I also like that it doesn't have a exposed heating element and the spring-loaded hinged cover with a push button release.  Also, the new Chinese one still doesn't leak around the spout! All the older ones that I have do!
