These things went for super cheap at discount stores back in the day.  Most had a variation on a coppertone finish.  I would think the paint on the pictured grill would discolor upon the first use.

That's the first thing I thought of too.
I would never want to use it after it's stayed new all this time.
It's too pretty to get it all burnt and discolored!

Joe, I suspect the same thing.  Regardless of color I don't think they were ever two-tone.
