This model is among the first to have the upper level wash arm and should have the turret in the middle of the upper rack, if it is deluxe enough to have the upper wash arm. WP thought they needed the turret to convert the upward motion of the feed into a swirling motion that would turn the upper wash arm which was sort of a stubby thing. Later, they found out that they did not need it.
