I’ve had one of these on my wish list for a long time. Then today I go on Facebook marketplace and this pops up for $20. It doesn’t have any of the extras the CIA version comes with, but I definitely wasn’t complaining. Luckily it had just been posted for 4 minutes. Everything works great! I still can’t believe it!

That's a good deal

You may have already been here, but this is a good resource for recipes. That machine does a lot including make hot soup. Mine is about 10 years old and we still use it every single day to make smoothies and I use it for other things too.

Awesome find AND price!

WOW CONGRATS!

I’m a bit jealous too. I have a 5200 also, but black, not red and I bought it new, so paid “slightly” more than you did (HA).

It’s a wonderful blender and I use mine a fair amount. My favorite thing to make is strawberry “ice cream” as they call it, especially for friends, it’s so good and SO fast, less than a minute!

I did make a “hot soup” once, but never again. WAY TO MUCH NOISE and honestly I can heat up soup in about half the time on the stove.

Know the feeling of OMG it's in the thrift shop. They sell blenders for $10. The Vitamix looks like a typical blender so it was $10.00. Part of the getting stuff for my house after the fire. Still not back in my house after 18 months. But it only a few weeks from completion. End result is an 1860 exterior with a 2020 interior. I will post pictures. I went with a lot of grays so my neighbor is calling it the 50 shades of gray house. Got a Cuisinart soup maker for $15.
