Hello Keith and Welcome to AW.org!
As far as I know there is only this national/global group, nothing specifically "regional". It's just a matter if a person with a collection, large or small, wants to open his/her home up and host a "wash-in", washer party, what ever you'd like to call it.
I see you signed up in June. If you were "lurking" prior to that you may have seen a couple threads about wash-ins, including one I hosted back in April (and smaller gathering in Pittsburg in June). While there are a handful of locals here within a 2 hour drive, the majority of the attendees for the April wash-in traveled from all over the country (and Canada) to be here. I am still in awe that so many came!

Over the last 2 - 3 years there have been Wash-In's or washer related parties in Los Angeles, Portland, Minneapolis, Massachusetts, Pittsburg, Baltimore / Wash D.C and New Jersey (Please forgive if I've forgotten any).

WOW... this little thing that started out as Jon (Jetcone) coming by to see my collection.... turned into a full blown WASH-IN with 50 people coming from all over the US and Canada!!!! I want to thank EVERYONE who took the time to make their way to my house for the wash-in! THANK YOU...

Maybe if you put some of your appliance likes in your profile, you might get contacted by others who share brand or appliance-type interests like vintage dishwashers with impellers, etc. Now that you have made your presence known, you stand a better chance of being included in regional activities.
