Great video. I ran across this "Off Grid Laundry Station" on CL.
Comes with a new washboard like in the video, and hand-wringer and a custom built table for $200!
Until I saw this I didn't realize they were still being made either.
Everything is marketing...it's not old fashioned, it's cool and "off grid."

I'll bet Cliff's Variety on Castro in SF carries washboards. Honestly, what don't they carry?
When our historical society toured the Logan area a couple of years ago, we had intended to take a tour of Columbus Washboard, but we ran out of time. We may go back over there sometime in the near future, as there were several other places we didn't get to.
