The scent is quite powerful, suds plentiful, and cleans better than A&H with Oxiclean.  I secured a bottle at my local grocer on sale for $5.99.  Having heard all about it, I figured I'd give it a go.

 

Will keep everyone posted on results.

I haven't tried that one,, I was scared off by the "intense" scent warning. I prefer lighter or no scent so I use the Persil Proclean 2 in 1 for clothing etc and Tide no scent something for sheets and pillowcases.

I think that it could be slightly better than Tide.

The scent rinses out. There is not any scent in the dried clothing, unlike with those detergents made for people who cannot bathe regularly. I have only used the "Persil ProClean Power-Liquid, 2in1 Detergent Pro-Lift Technology Pro 10 Premium Clean". All of that is on the label on the front of the bottle; I just wanted to make sure to let you know what I had used. It is not as foamy as liquid Tide Products, especially that Coral Blast I tried, but the Coral Blast made me think of Bikini Atoll and mushroom clouds so I was expecting something. I like the powder Tide Ultra Oxi. It has a very pleasant fragrance. I mix it half and half with Jon's No-Suds which kills suds like a glance from a Republican kills a smile on the face of a good person. Maybe I will try doing the same thing with the Coral Blast and the No-Suds.

People that don't bath properly or often enough-detergent or softner scents anre't going to hide the BO-----Just makes the stench WORSE!!!

I did the same thing about two months ago after my local grocery store had peril on sale. I was previously using the magnolia scented detergent that Costco carries. I used the recommended dosage on a full load in my toploader and the scent was very, very strong. I could smell it on the first floor when doing laundry. I've reduced the dosage to 2 tablespoons, and that keep the scent to an acceptable level for me, though I'm not sure if this adversely affects washing performance. I don't think performance is worse than what I used previously, but I also can't see that it's markedly better. My clothes are never actually visibly soiled, but my partner's clothes are always very dirty from his job. I wash his things separately and even with those haven't noticed much of a difference. I'm going to try original powered tide next.
