My mom is doing her spare kitchen over for the last time in stainless front appliances and a tall tub GE is part of the package. I bought this TOL Model 911 for her in 1975 because K.A. didn't yet have top rack spray and it's been seldom used all these years. Works and looks new. First $100 takes it, including manual and custom door frames. Call 914-337-6718 for details. Thanks.

What's in a name?

HMMM... ReversaJet is what Gorman-Rupp calls the 1/2hp reversing pumps they provide for some commercial undercounter dishwashers like Jacksons and Moyer Diebel machines. Emerson motors connected to their pump assy's. Charge a fortune for them too! Seem to be a good unit though!

It's also an old Tappan Dishwasher

I don't recall exactly how they worked but it was something like a rubber band where as the spray arm went one way it would wind this thing up and then when it got to a certain point it would reverse. Am I imagining this or is there anyone else who remembers these? Our neighbors had one and as I recall it had a huge dial in the upper right hand corner to turn it on. I don't recall though if it was a multiple wash arm machine or only one. This would have been in the late 60s or early 70s.
