hope that everyone had a great weekend, just wanted to share the most recent additions...

So.... Evan went to visit some friends this past Sunday and left 30$ less in his pocket and came home with a few "new" toys to add to the collection....

Congrats!

If you are planning on using any of the dryers, the GE is a larger capacity and more powerful dryer than the Maytag and probably the WP if the WP still has the perforated drum back. Is the WP dryer electric also? With the one piece front, it probably is.

I am very happy with the assortment that has followed us home, and thankfully there is not a gas dryer in the lot... yes they are all electric ( live in the country and on propane) and the Whirlpool is indeed a perforated back. I have started doing some looking at them and figuring out where to start. I do know that the washer spins and seams to be very clean for the most part.

The back story of this is that, Evan had a friend contact him and ask if we still were collecting large appliances. Of course that was followed by an immediate yes. The guy that these came from had dug them out of his fathers storage trailer and he had no idea where most of them came from. All that he asked for was scrap value and when Evan handed him 30$ he told him, "no way that is too much, I was thinking more like 20$"
