I read this same thing on the Film Tech projectionist forums!Will other car companys do this?If so may stall newer car sales!

This is why I am partial to cars without any sort of computers on them. Only thing that should be electronic is the radio

I read the article and most of the comments, and as for the aricle, on the way to the cars' self-repossession are amenities which will disable themselves...

Such as the cruise control being inoperable and perhaps the windows failing to open, and even the door locks locking the owners out--however I would go as far as to believe these cars will lock the owners in, with no way to open the windows and the air conditioning to purposely fail on a real hot day!
