I have a 50's (I believe its a 1957) Westinghouse stove and I need to find Corox burners (surface elements) for it. One of the small ones (6 inch)is bad and one of the big ones (8 inch)has a hot spot is about to go.

The element has two contact points and a straight metal rod (a ground, I believe).

I had previously heard someone mention a John LeFever on this board who may be able to help.

If anyone who may know how to get in touch with him or can help me in any way, I would greatly appreciate it.

I love the stove and I'd hate to have to buy a new one...I think they're mostly junk.

Thanks,

Paul

I do have a brand new 8" original Westinghouse 4 turn element with the W emblem. It has the horizontal terminals and the rod that extends from the center of the support to the bracket where the terminals are. The rod does not extend between the terminals, but it should fit. I think the part # is Q201367, but the part # may be obsolete. You can email me at [email protected].
