The neat thing about this machine is the flow through detergent dispenser. Those two dots on the printed cycle indicate two washes or one. There is a little pipe with a 90 degree downward bend over the dispenser. It sprays water into the II compartment for the first fill then it changes position to spray into the detergent compartment marked I, It is one the front wall of the tank and has to be filled before the silver basket is put in place. Older models with a similar front did not have the detergent dispenser, but a round detergent holder made out of screen. It fit into a round loop at the 12 o'clock position in the upper rack.
This model had a separate electric drain pump which is why there is that little strainer in the sump.
There was a more deluxe model with the hot water booster to guarantee 140F water in the main wash. It had a little red sliding switch to the right of the door release to activate the booster.
