$200 is too much for a dryer that needs quite a bit of work done to it to bring it back to its former glory. There is a Kenmore frogeye dryer that still resides in the appliance junkyard in Glendale Arizona a few people on here visited many years ago and you’d think it would be in even worse shape than that Westinghouse slant front dryer since it’s been sitting outside for who knows how long but since I was there the other day to get some more Maytag parts I’d thought I’d remove the rear panel to see what shape it’s in and surprisingly there wasn’t much if any lint to speak of that built up on the inside. Only things it really would need is a new set of belts, thermostats, and a few coats of paint and that’s all it really would need to bring it back to life.
