Hi all I got some silicon sealant on my nice black sweat pants while rebuilding some kirby vacuums, How do i get this stuff off of my sweat pants?

That's a tough one!

You won't find any commercial laundry products that can remove it as if they were able to dissolve silicone sealant they would also dissolve synthetic fibres and components of your washing machine.

You may need to seek advice from the sealant

You could try a product called "Silicone Eater" it's available in the UK and Ireland and is used for removing sealant from hard surfaces in DIY/construction projects.

However, if you do use it ensure that you wash the clothes out by hand afterwards and do not put them directly into a washing machine until you are happy that the product is no longer on the fabric. You could do a lot of damage to seals.

Talking to the tube may not get you very far :)
