I had mentioned in an earlier post that a local appliance repair person was in the process of liquidating his old parts stock. Well, one of the planned activities for my stay in Ogden was to see what there was for sale.
Here’s the first box of electric range surface elements I picked up just this past weekend.
Note the really old Frigidaire elements on the left of this picture.
The storage area where these items have been stored was very damp, so items are not in mint condition but each element I have found so far has been tested and is OK.
There are more range units (Frigidaire and Bélanger, which is the same kind of element as I believe was found on the RCA Estate ranges).

There are many, many motors.... I have already secured an original motor for my Inglis dryer, a spare for the Canadian Westinghouse dryer, and the Maytag DE701. There are good number of Maytag and Inglis/Whirpool ‘square’ motors. I believe there are a couple of KitchenAid dishwasher motors down there, too. If anyone needs a motor, let me know and I will ask when I am down there again!
There are a few agitators (80s models I believe) but I have spotted among the clutter a couple of Kitchen Aid silverware baskets and at least one turquoise Maytag washer lint filter!

KA parts-

Do they have other KA parts: fill valves, timers, button contol units, etc? Also I may be able to use good working wide tube burner units for a '76 Frigidaire (GM) range, if they have any...I'm probably OK for used motors, the 17 Portable will probably become a parts unit when Josh moves and no longer needs it, plus motors can be rewound/rebuilt fairly easily around here. Thanks for the offer Paul!
