What in the world are these speed queens?

I found a listing in MI for these, this was the only photo and of course it’s blurry when you zoom in and you can’t read the brand label on the control panels. It looks like it says “Genius”. These are just beautiful in this color combo, anyone ever seen these before and know what brand label speed queen used on these?

I forgot to mention at first I thought someone repainted a 2017 era TOL SQ set but the paint job is way too good for someone to of done that themselves and the control panel layout is different than the SQ labeled machines. These were being sold for $500 for the set. Someone is going to get an amazing set!

Unless mistaken those are SQ TR series units which were only offered in white or black. Maybe there was a time SQ did offer them in sort of "putty" color depicted in pictures?

Possibly I doubt it though as I’ve been watching their company closely since 2017, and there isn’t a speed queen badge it says something else. My parents have a TR unfortunately, all white with the black control panel.

What site did you find these on? Did you message them to at least ask for the brand, etc?

This is not a TR washer as there is no lid lock, Dan ask the seller for a picture of the model stickers, that will tell the age and who sold these.

These are definitely pre 2018 and before the TR series came out.

These machines are not Genius branded , they are Primus branded SQ Alliance built machines.

I went to go find the ad again on fb marketplace and ended up finding a different ad but the same machines by a strange shot of luck, so question is answered this listing which is the same machines by a different seller posted many photos. Brand is PRIMUS. Never heard of that? And a black tub. So strange.

So how did these washers agitate?

Cannot find anything with white agitator seen above.

With black agitator ALS/SQ isn't worried in least bit.

Jerome, you can obviously tell that these are speed queen washers, just with a different badge. So how do you think they’d agitate and operate considering they are nothing but a rebadged speed queen classic?

I've never used a Primus before, but it's obvious it would perform the same way.
The question is, how do you get it to do a deep rinse on a normal cycle if heavy duty isn't available?

Dan, these are often made for the 50 cycle market. So pump out might be slower, however, considering the literature claims 710 rpm spinning, I am guessing the pulleys are sized differently to compensate.

 

 

Jerome, the literature says 118 liters or 31.5 gallons, so I'm guessing all cycles use a deep rinse with a tub fill of about 15 gallons. 

 

Of course, I am looking at the AU specs. DOE models probably have a spray rinse or gray water rinse on all cycles.
