It's been sittin in my bedroom as my hamper for a few years now.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! After a few minutes of wash...
OOOOOOO!!!!!!!
At the end of the wash right before the first spin... no need to clean THIS room ever again!
Spray rinse!!!
Rinsing!
Draining out the rinse water!
The fully (well, VERY close to fully) restored GM Frigidaire 1-18!!! YAY!!!!!!

OMG, CONGRATULATIONS, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!! THE 1-18 WIG IS IN THE BASEMENT AND RUNNING AGAIN! Fantastic work, that machine looks just MINT now. Can't say that mine looks as good as that one! If you need any parts, let me know.
With a capful of high-sudsing detergent, you'll certainly get some good lather! I've found that Fab or Fresh Start works great if you want to watch the turnover in a controlled-suds wash.
