What's the Story on this Hotpoint Fridge?

This was Hotpoints so called Built In..made to go with there Customline built in appliances.

My Aunt & Uncle had that same fridge, and the matching electric cooktop and wall oven in coppertone in their home which was built in 1957. They served them well until the mid 1980's.

My aunt had the sme, but in "coppertone/tan" for their house built in 1958 or 1959. Lasted until the mid 1980s with a family of 8.

It looks entirely modern for 50+ years old. And in stainless no less. I hope it finds a good home.

That fridge was a b*tch to take out when it died, being built-in and all.
