Where Can I Find...?

I have been looking for POR-15. I have a few days off and plan to play a bit with the GE filter flo that I picked up from a vacant house that was sold. I had noticed that the top of the inner tub above the clothes retainer ring has a few chips and a bit of rust so I thought I would nip that in the bud. However four independent hardware stores later, not a single owner knew what I was asking for. So any idea as to why this is so mysterious fo find?

The other obvious item that needs attention on that machine is the lid and top. For some reason, there is rust above the rubber gasket all around the edge of the loading port. Never saw that on a GE before. I am sure that a top is replaceable - just need to find one.

POR-15 can only be ordered online or by calling in your order. The stuff is fantastic. Just make sure when you're using it to wear rubber gloves because once it sets you CANNOT get it off your skin. (the company even tells you that it will have to wear off) I used it on my Frigidaire roller-matic and it works great. very easy to put on and a little goes a long way. It is expensive but worth every penny if you want to stop rust. Good luck

In addition to their website, I have also found it in automotive supply stores that cater to Auto Body Shop repair.
