Where can I get a part for my Hoover?

HI all, I have a 1958 Hoover Constellation eighty-six and the handle on the top is broken. Does anyone have an idea where I could get a new one? Thanks for your help. Gary

i wish it were that easy! whenever i have really needed rare Hoover parts, and i cant find them on ebay, i usually have luck by calling as many vac shops as possible. out of state, and across the country. if you call enough, someone will have the part you need. Fred, that SPIFFY Hoover black 913-style bag you STOLE off eBay a couple weeks back might make a good substitute!

Does anyone have bags for Hoover Convertible Specials models

This model 36 was manufactured from February 1966 to February 1967, with 191,093 made. Its colors are Nassau Blue and pearl white with silver trim. I have one of the early models because mine has the clip on medallion instead of the little sticker they went to in about May of 1966. The Convertible Special 33 I have is the one my mom got when she got married in 1963 and it has been in our family ever since. PATRICK COFFEY
