I was wondering where do people get stuff like unimatics, and GEs today? Also rare Bendixes.

I know that you can get them in junk stores and garbage places but where else?

Ebay, Craigslist, the lovely old lady down the street, friend of a friend, referrals, Goodwill stores,local estate sales, washing machine dealers and repair shops. There are many places to look.

If I were you!!!

I would start with estate sales!, I have found some real gems there,Also,get off the interstate while traveling,go the back roads, thru every little town on the map,stop at every old appliance or furniture store,as well as hardware stores,I found a store that had 3 old washers on the showroom floor,2 Philco toploaders and a Duo-Matic,my friend Jerry in Winston Salem got the Duo Matic and I got the 2 Top loaders,which I had a friend sell for me!!!.
