I need to order a gas pressure regulator for a Tappan stove that I'm converting from propane to NG.

Will a 3.5" WC pressure regulator provide enough outlet pressure? The stove has no regulator so I have nothing to reference.

Any advice is much appreciated.

It may be that no stove regulator is needed for NG, as its pressure may be regulated at the meter. But don't quote me on that. I'd ask your local NG company. They should know what their meter does or cannot do.

I've seen some big disk-like contraptions between the main service line and the meter, which I assume is some sort of regulator.

Better safe than sorry!

Well, in another thread on the subject the consensus was all NG appliances should have a regulator as a safety device.
