Whirlpool 1994 built-in 27" double oven

F-1 code. Local (good guys) parts people say board discontinued, but can send it in for a rebuild for $299. Fair?

I think you can get it done cheaper.

I sent the board from my Frigidaire range to Canada earlier this year and it was around $100. Ther's also a place that lists rebuilding services on eBay

Try FixYourBoard.com.  They have a 2-year warranty on the work, list of boards by part number on the site but can do others.  Price varies per the board.  I had my parents' wall oven board repaired several months ago, $130 +sales tax, including return shipping (customer pays to send it in).  Sent it on Tue, back on Fri.
