I already replaced this since they are easy to find and inexpensive. The old one delivered a loud single metallic SNAP while agitating, the filter stopped flowing, then no pumpout for neutral drain. The belt just moved in the pulley with no turning. Now that it's off the machine and I turned until it loosened, it turns nicely by hand, so who knows? Is there any rebuild on these, or just throw it away?

The new one washed 2 loads well last night.

WP BD 4 Port Water Pump

This pump was used on a few models till the end of production on BD washers. This one was the only one that you could actually take apart and reassemble easily, so go ahead and see if something is stuck in it, no parts are available for these pumps however.

If you have any problems when fixing this pump be sure to ask Paul C as he is an expert with this pump, and after that remark I am going to hide for the rest of the year.

Happy Holidays everyone, John L.

Don't hide yet John

I have a 1-18 dryer thread where few others may have the answer!

4 port pump---I'll take it apart, thanks for the info. I have 3 total WP/KM washers, maybe I'll fix it or learn something.

Careful John, I know where you live... LOL

Mark, after what I've been through with the Inglis, I think your instinct to replace yours was a good one.

I haven't taken the drive shaft out of one, though, but I do have instructions on how to replace and lubricate the bearings. I can scan those and send them to you if you'd like to give it a try!
