HI everyone i am in a little bit of a pickle. I have a 1998 Whirlpool LXR9245EQ1 that i found on the side of the road it had dents and rust spots all over it. So i took her all apart and did some body work and sanded, primer, and painted it with Sherwin-Williams industrial enamel paint teal in color with the white lid. It looks beautiful BUT when you look close at it you can see imperfections. So am not really happy with my work.

My question is if I find another body for her what do i need to look out for? Does the load size matter? What about size of the lid? tub size Etc...

I was planning on painting the matching dryer as well but because the washer is not to my liking i don't want to mess with the dryer yet. Any and all advise is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the help

Any WP, KA or KM 27" wide DD washer cabinet from 1985 - 2010 will fit your machine, we swap cabinets all the time in rebuilding machines for resale. So look for a donor machine or go to a shop that rebuilds machines and buy a good used cabinet.

I just looked up your machine and you can still buy a NEW cabinet if you want, Almond Pt# is 63425 $202.00 and white is 63424 $222.00
