You should let Daddy's boy unwrap your big package.

I have that model....just a little older

We have that model DW. We've had it for a few years. We have the portable. It's performance is OK as far as I'm concerned. Yes, the machine does hold quite a bit. I could easily pass a Bob Load certification if I were to go for it (I don't mean to pat myself on the back). The problem we have is that the drain will become clogged and won't drain out. This has happened twice in the past year. It doesn't care for rice and has a problem getting spinach bits off of dishes. Besides the clogging issue on the drain it does ok. Just be prepared. Also, when loading, we always load the plates in the front left corner to ensure that the detergent dispenser isn't blocked and plenty of water can reach it. Also, fyi....we take the filter out of the bottom and rinse it out about once a month to help prevent the clogs...Ok...time to end rant. lol

Everyone stay safe and take care!!!!

Darryl and I have a very similar version (Kenmore).

It cleans ok. Actually better than expected. Of course, I don't expect it to be a TOL dishwasher. I can say I'm happy with it.

It's less noisy that I thought it would be, it cleans well but I doubt it would pass the "cake test".

Less than 1 year after purchased, the door decided to take some Viagra pills. Darryl procrastinated to call sears and the warranty expired. I'm procrastinating to adjust the door.

A few weeks ago is started leaking a few drops. I first blamed my two dogs, thinking they were peeing on the floor, but then one night i pulled the dishwasher away from the sink and realized there was a small puddle right in the middle of it (and the floor was dry before the DW was rolled there.

I hope it lasts, but when it dies, I'm going to get a TOL dishwasher and make a roller cabinet for it.

"I don't expect it to be a TOL dishwasher"

There aren't too many models made anymore as portables. Most brand only have one, of any.

"I doubt it would pass the "cake test".

Is that really realistic? All that grease clumped together. I doubt the owners manual would encourage that.

"I first blamed my two dogs, thinking they were peeing on the floor, but then one night i pulled the dishwasher away from the sink and realized there was a small puddle right in the middle of it"

I wouldn't rule out the dogs. They may just have good or creative aim.
