Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I bought my mother a new WP set in the mid 80's with the "winged" surgilator and we used it for years, and it never damaged any clothing that I can remember. It was a great machine, TOL. I sold it after mom moved into an apartment, wished I would have kept it for myself.

Pale blue agitator

I don't have one to show, but I know there have been discussions on the board here in the past. I bet someone out there has one to take a pic of, or share an old photo!

I think I have the blue agitator cap though...going to go look...

Todd that's a nice Whirlpool !
The long fin Surgelator is my faverite .
It has a wave that flex the clothes a little better then the
Short vaned model.
Not a fan of the Super Surgelator for extra capacity washers.

Well I got the baby blue agitator.
But not the cap lol can't find it.
Here Todd.
I got this from John Le fever
Could you believe I had this with me on a Greyhound bus lol.

This is wonderful--I had no idea. Thank you.

Would love to see the black no-fins-extended Surger, aerial shot or out of the tub.

Darren, I have a blue one too. I'll shoot it when a camera person comes by. Mine looks bluer than yours, probably the light makes yours look white. With my luck, mine will come out whiter.

What would we do, where would we be, without our fellow washer lovers? Good night and sleep tight.

WOW thanks, Darren, you read my mind.

I was composing while you were posting. Ah, "Thar she blows!" in the flesh, the fin-less Surgilator. Amazing, and your second pic of the blue is much bluer!

DD Super Surgilator

The Agitator with the wings also stops the fins at the base. Squared off as I recall.
