White Knight Tumble Dryer Banging noise at start of cycle

my nans White knight dryer makes a banging/ scraping noise my grandad is flapping so i would like your opinion

basically my nan said she put ti on and it made a banging noise and it stopped so i put it on and if i put pressure on a front left hand corner and it stops or you have to wait 5 mins for it to warm up there is a scratch in the drum ( or it could be my nans skirt has melted on it i tell her not to put skirts in ) i will see if it is a dig in the drum thanks =)

banging dryer

Sounds like a bad drum bearing or roller. My friend who owns a laundromat had alot of banging in his 30# stack dryers. He replaced the front rollers and it went away.

Mine does a loud rumble and is relitivley loud. ive had it 2 nd hand and it has allways made a noise.
