who else made these washers?

can anyone tell me what other companies made the small crank wringer machines? I know of only 2. Gibson/monitor,and of course the hoover mini single tub. I have seen gorgeous pics of others that are similar in the uk. but really very few here in the states. I would be interested to know any info. thanks Bill

The portable square cabinet washer with a round blue inner tub that was sold by Sears and made by Proctor-Silex had an optional hand-cranked wringer.

In Canada, there was a version of the square-tub, hand-crank wringer washers made by Thor.  However I think they were pretty much the same machine as the Monitor.  I had one a very long time ago (like when I was 13 or 14) that was missing the wringer.  I wish I had thought to at least note down the model number and place of manufacture.   I'd bet the Thor models were manufactured in Canada under license by Monitor (as Inglis did with their Whirlpool-designed machines).
