Ding!

...or should I say, "Buzzzzz?"

Mahvelous. What a recipe--so simple, and yet, sinfully satisfying!

At first the 90-minute bake time had me a touch freaked, but obviously, it works great :-D

Thank you for the recipe, Jeff!!

nice GE stove. I like the analog clock. Brings back memories of my childhood.

I don't think you can even buy a stove with analog any longer?

Nope.. The cheapest stove i have seen is "Amercana" line at Home Deopt.... That was $239 with a digital clock...
Thats what goes in the 4 rentel units i have

Thanks, guys :-P

And thank you Jeff, for that recipe! It's to die for--Will is threatening me for even having made it (we'll both eat it up before tomorrow evening, you watch) :-D

So moist--mmm!

The recipe is in the "Back to the Mixmaster" thread--just scroll until you find it. Open the thread and do a Find for "Gentlemen, START YOUR MIXERS!"

Just curious?

How many of you would take that bowl (first picture above), beater and spatula exactly as it is and put it in the dishwasher? I mean, it wouldn't even pass close to the sink. I would. People who watch me do it think I'm nuts but the way I look at it is if the dishwasher won't clean it, it's time for a new machine.

Hey that cake looks familiar!!!

Looks great guys, thats what it should usually looks like for me!
I didn't mention in the other thread, but the batter looks/tastes kinda like chocolate ice cream, and that once baked its 4 inches of solid chocolate!
Whenever I eat this cake, my eyes are closed, its THAT good!

Thanks for all the nice words guys, I woke up this morning to a blizzard outside, had to be pushed out of my driveway, took me a hour to drive 8 miles to work, and son of a gun I am the only here!
The nice words really made my day!
Glad the cake was a hit too!

!!

Thanks, Scott ;-), and you're welcome, Greg :-P

Awww, I hope you have a better day, Jeff! Geez.

The mixing bowl did not go into the dishwasher until it was licked clean by parties as of yet unnamed. Also, it was handwashed after that, because it won't fit in the top rack (spray arm hangs too low), and if I put it in the bottom, I lose a quadrant of the top rack space. *sigh* :-)

However, the baking pan DID go straight into the dishwasher, with half an inch of crunchies sticking to it, and it came out SPOTLESS after the good old, standard-issue 45-minute cycle. YAY to hot water, Electrasol, and the Magic Chef :-)
