So it's not a case of cross-linking in Craigslist software, but someone who is a scam artist ... ? Should that ad be flagged or Craigslist alerted that there are two postings of the same dryer?

Why hasn't this dryer sold - it's a nice old dryer. Maybe some issues...?

Looks like something phishy going on.  Both ads are worthy of flagging.  The picture is more suspect as it relates to the SF ad.  By and large, the housing stock in the Haight consists of Victorians, single family or flats, with very high ceilings.
