Brand name and a pic of the machine in question would be helpful in getting the info that you are trying to find out.
If the model number doesn't have any date encrypted into it the pic you provide could be very helpful in helping determine the approximate age of your machine.
I'm sure someone on here would recognize it if they saw it and be able to enlighten you.
