Help Support :

I beleive this model was the last generation of the GE-High speed universal motored disposers.Than they switched to Aneheim Manufacturing for their disposers.anyone know what happened to the older GE disposal factory-think it was in Louiesville,Kentucky.I have seen these sold At the Sears near me In Manassas ,VA in the late 90's.

That is correct

Thats the last of the real GE made disposers, an updated more powerful version of their 8000 rpm model from the 60's.
I always thought these were such flimsy, wimpy things...till I lived in an apartment with one installed. They worked great, and would eat almost anything, sometimes faster and without all the clunking sounds made by ISE's impellers.
These were discontinued sometime towards the end of 2000, by the summer of 2001 GE disposers were all Anaheim made.
