DeLorean

I always thought these were interesting cars, but they needed a better engine. That French "PRV" V-6 was a boat anchor in my opinion. They were only good for a 0-60 time of about 10.5 seconds, and they enjoyed eating camshafts and alternators.

It would be very cool to transplant a V8 into one of these cars...

They still make DeLoreans. The factory is in SW Houston. They have all the original dies and a warehouse of original DeLorean parts. You can bring in your tired old DeLorean and they will overhaul the entire car to like new specs. I think the price of a new one is around $35K.

Man. I forgot how much I love the DeLorean.

If I had one, I'd sell everything else and live in the car before I sold the DeLorean.
