Wow, a very late 606 Halo. They sure seem to be popping up lately. Probably warming up for May, the Maytag month.

Let's cross our fingers for a sunny yellow 906 set to po

I'll take ANYTHING in sunny yellow!

My favorite dryer control of all time. Give the knob a push and walk away, and come back to perfectly dried clothes every time, and a job completed with quiet efficiency.

does the HALO overdry clothes? how do these machines work as far as performance? I am seriously considering buying it, and re-painting it white to match my washer

Experts correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the top surface porcelain enameled? I would think it would be difficult to paint and wouldn't be nearly as durable.

I have a HOH DE606, and I must say that I don't find my clothes to be overdried at all. Everything comes out so nice and soft. My dryer has a bell that dings when the contents are dry, and then will tumble for 5 more minutes before shutting off completely. Just be careful not to overload them, remember they have a smaller interior compared to today's large capacity machines.

does the HALO overdry clothes?

I never had over-dry clothes come out of any of the 7 electronic controlled halos I have the pleasure of using while drying on the "Regular" cycle. Clothes will come out a little over-dry if you use the "Permanent Press" cycle.

haha

my friends back home have this dryer and they always had to run it twice to dry anything until I removed the lint filter. Which had not been cleaned in two years. its was cool like little layers or rings on a tree.
