Considering I love 99% of Christmas music this would be a hard choice. But given only 3 choices here they are...

Christmas songs
1. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer - by Gene Autry.
2. Christmastime Is Here - Vince Guaraldi. This has got to be the most comforting song ever. It makes you think of a snowy wintery day.
3. Sleigh Ride - but it has to be the instrumental version or the vocal by Johnny Mathis.

1) Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth Bing Crosby/David Bowe
2) Holly Jolly Christmas / Burl Ives
3) There is No Place Like Home for the Holidays / Perry Como

And of course any of the tradition Christmas Hymns

Hi Jason

O Holy Night
Little Drummer Boy
Ave Maria or Walking in a Winter Wonderland if Ave can't be claimed as an Xmas song

With so much audio refinement available today, even in the confines of your car, many versions and varieties of these songs are as good as the next, especially of these three.

I like any of the Ray Conniff stuff. They did a nice version of "What Child Is This?" that had a haunting electric guitar motif in it that I really like. You probably hear it on the radio.

I also like "Carol of the Bells." It's pretty, and it reminds me of early '70s Andre champagne commercials. I notice now, though, that it has been appropriated to sell some kind of navigation device on the radio, so now I'm not too sure . . .

The Carol of the Bells.
The complete version of Silver Bells. (Most versions leave out the preamble.)
Hallelujah Chorus

I actually saw the Bing Crosby special with David Bowie when it was on TV. Pre-VCR. Had to watch it in real time, LOL!

1. Merry Christmas Everybody by Slade
2. Anything from the classic Bing Crosby Christmas album
3. Sleigh Ride (at least for the moment)

1. For Unto Us A Son is Given from Handel's Messiah, performed by the Boston Pops Orch., Arthur Fiedler conducting.
2. The Christmas Song, by Nat King Cole
3. O Holy Night, by Nat King Cole

1. If Every Night Were Christmas Eve by Lesley Gore
2. Merry Christmas, Darling by Carpenters
3. O Come All Ye Faithful by Anne Murray

I was hoping to find this thread!

Traditional carols:
3. The First Noel
2. Carol of the Bells
1. O Holy Night. Possibly the world's hardest song to sing. If you start off wrong, you'll never recover!

Newer ones:
3. "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year". The Andy Williams version, please.
2. "All I Want for Christmas is You" by Vince, Vance, and the Valiants
1. "We Are Santa's Elves" from the "Rudolph" soundtrack.

Anything sung by Gene Autry. Just plain and simple Christmas songs. He actually sounds like he had a fun time recording them. It's almost as if he is smiling while singing them.

Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time-The Beatles?
Christmas Time is Here-Vince Guaraldi (from Charlie Brown Christmas?)
Do They Know It's Christmas Time-Band Aid.
The Christmas Song-Nat King Cole

Lots of others.

Have a good one,
James

Jason, Mr. Hankey The Christmas Poo is a character on South Park. I'm wondering if the creators got tired of trying to find a Christmas image that didn't offend anyone, so they found one that offended everyone.

South Park is an acquired taste. But now that it's in re-runs on broadcast TV, I've grown rather fond of their extremely irreverent humor. Subtitles help, as well.

If you go to comedycentral.com you might be able to hear the Poo song without having to sit through a lot of South Park. Me, I don't think I've heard it yet, but there are still some six days left before Christmas.
