Hi Everyone. I'm David from Minnesota and I'm into vintage General Electric Refrigerators. This forum often pops up in my searches for information so I joined. In the last two months I've acquired 7 vintage refrigerators and 1 stove to troubleshoot, learn, and repair. It's addictive. I've purchased manuals and literature from the library at Automatic Ephemera, and it's been a great resource.

Welcome, David!

I'm a big fan of vintage GE refrigerators, the full run of their Combination models in particular. IMO, you can't have too many experts on this forum when it comes to those machines!

David, have fun in this new venture. It is indeed addictive... I have maybe 12 fridges ranging from a "1917" Perfection absorption model to a red 1970's Frigidaire, most of them are from 1955 or earlier. You aren't likely to find a more knowledgeable group on appliances...

Thanks Ralph! Great to hear. I’ve definitely jumped into gathering GE refrigerators. An Americana, a GE wall mount, and a mid 50’s Hot Point are all still on my wish list. I recently bought a pink 1963 TCF-479 Frost Guard that I’m waiting for to be shipped.
