Maytag DE807 for free

Hello.

I have a white Maytag DE807 available in Berkeley California.

It was working when I removed it from use. It was purchased by the previous home owner for $358.65 in 1972. I do have the original paper work and the repair history.

If anyone is interested in picking it up in Berkeley California I would be happy to help load it. Otherwise I will have to take it to the Berkeley dump/transfer station. It would be a shame to waste this nice old dryer.

$360 sounds SOOO cheap in this day and age... but I guess it was real money back then. You can still get an Amana dryer for a bit more than that, being an old WP design, it should last pretty well. Then again, my first car cost me $175 in 1976, and it looked good, passed inspection and would take you anywhere you wanted!
