HI friends, the Speed Queen wringer washer is up and running again. I was using it last week and had the pump running to empty the tub. It was doing well and all of a sudden stopped pumping even though the control was set to drain. Now what do I do with this? I am sure that it is more difficult...

1978 Maytag automatic leaking water I have a1978 Maytag automatic and there seems to be a bit of water on the floor from the right front of the washer. No oil in the wash or rinse water. What could it be? Thanks, Gary

My Speed Queen is up and washing just fine. I have been doing laundry now in my Speed Queen wringer washer. The tub isn't leaking, the washer is quiet (more so than the Maytag wringer machine) and washes well. Both the wringer and pump are working fine too so washday is done in a jiffy...

HI everyone, here is the update on my Speed Queen wringer washer. It is up and washing again! I went to Mendards and bought a few O rings and one of them worked. A friend of mine installed it, tightened the screw and off it went. No leaks,the pump works fine; I did a large wash in it last Monday...

Stan, don't forget to put a bit of Vaseline on the agitator post before you push the new agitator in place. It helps to release the agitator when finished washing. Thanks,  Gary  

John, thanks for your help on this.  When I apply the marine sealant, do I put it in the inside of the rim, where the round seal was of the drain section or just on the outside? Thanks once again. Gary
