1996 Kenmore direct drive. Model number: 11092597200, serial CF1348209.

Noticing a clicking noise whenever I wash heavy loads, preferably on fast agitation. Its annoying. Yes the machine is thoroughly insulated with sound deadener. Noise seems prevalent during the wash cycle, then goes after after the first spin.

Also if I run the washer on spin first, then turn it on and wash like usual, I don't get the click. Inspected all internal components and everything is good. Any suggestions?

1978 Maytag automatic leaking water

I have a1978 Maytag automatic and there seems to be a bit of water on the floor from the right front of the washer. No oil in the wash or rinse water. What could it be?
Thanks, Gary

Direct Dr., Kenmore washer, clicking noise

During agitation, hi Matt,

There’s really no way anybody else can diagnose accurately these noises that you keep hearing with your machines if it bothers you you really just need to take the cabinet off and sit there and watch it. Use the stethoscope techniques and figure out what’s causing the noise, it’s pointless to keep making posts about it when people are not with the machine.

Don’t take this as being negative as i like help people with their machine problems,

John

John I have done all that. Seems to be coming from the clutch or transmission and both are fine. Clutch is new. Transmission is rebuilt. So I don’t know
