Something interesting pulled me into the basement the other day...

its amazing how you just came up with all of this on your own, as if no one on this site helped you or advised you on anything about the motor at all, taking it apart, removing the key, inspecting the windings, determining if there was bearing failure, encouraging you to take it to a motor...

BUILD YOUR OWN SOAP BOX-ON-A-STICK KIT #2310, HURRY SUPPLIES i think having read all of these posts here that there is a solution to some members being opposed to political discussions on this site and I will email Mr. Webmaster about that and see what he thinks. I expressed opinions in here...

    A sad day for me....

Easter Egg Lavender Eyes. Coal smoke ripples across the white clouds, streaking behind as you run toward the sunset. We can hardly wait to catch up to you again. It may be that the only thing in the world that matters is compassion.

Primus W-10X^2 update "I need Control!!!"

Wow...that's gonna be fun to drive. Custom wash-it-all! Does anyone ever remember a commercial machine that was called a Duplex? I saw one in KC in the early 80's, it was a frontload machine with only two baffles in it, nice reddish-coppertone color to it as well. Never have been able to find...

    Interesting find from the pile...

ah yes... pressurized airflow, HUGE rear drum fan blade, and air that flows out of the baffles which was actually a great idea except stuff used to fall down in the grating. And other problems like lint lint and more lint all over the place. yet fun...mine had the stuck switch too...so what i...

    Bendix Transmissions

Yikes...sounds like I better make a call and secure those transmissions. I've never 'been under the hood' of a Duomatic or domestic Bendix other than the little one I have, only the coin-op versions. Man, this site is a blast...should have been in here a along time ago. Must take pictures soon...

    Frontload Bolt-Down Experiment

That would be one heck of a video...a Wascomat flying through a wall...a little bit depressing of course but still. Thanks everyone for the input...when I find a beat up machine to do the experiment I will of course document it with a camera.

    Bendix Transmissions

think i figured it out via jetcone's video on youtube sounds the same. just dont know if the case is the same so that it will bolt up on any 3-speed machine. and wonder if they would work on my A47...because the pump seal failed and destroyed the motor shaft on it, which i found out when trying...

    Frontload Bolt-Down Experiment

i thought so... That had occured to me. I might still try it anyway, just as an excuse to drink beer and play with another machine. Thanks for your input though! You know, I just realized that I have never had an Italian beer. Wine yes of course, but never a beer.
