ok, thanks for the reply. It seems different from what Ultramatic did to fix his timer. It was the center plastic gear that was broken in his case. Besides I just removed 4 casing screws, the casing is still intact. It seems to replace just the timer you'd have to remove these same screws...

timer partially removed Okay i've got the timer removed from the washer with the wires still on. And I removed four screws that keep the casing together. How do I actually pull it apart? It's not coming apart. I think maybe the middle prong is doing something...
