Cloudy lid I have a Rival Crock Pot as well. For the lid, I simply replaced it with a Pyrex clear glass lid. They all used to come with these and they can be put in the dishwasher withuut a problem.

I've never seen a Maytag with this console before. Was it a builders special? It reminds me of some of the coin-op washers I've seen in laundry mats. What is above the dial? Is it a pilot light or a push to start button? A pilot light seems unlikely in such a BOL model. David
