I ended up coming across an Amana Radarange in all of it's chrome/ stainless glory. Would it be awful if I painted out the cabinet in black instead of its current brown?

I know vintage appliances are much more substantial than newer models. Should I be concerned with the overall weight/ load on the floor of my kitchen from a Flair and vintage G.E. fridge?

Excellent! My Flair has some scratches on either side and there was no way to get a nice touch up. I will probably go with a generic (Rustoleum) epoxy appliance paint unless anyone has other recommendations!

Does anyone know if the exterior surface of a Frigidaire Flair could be painted with Rustoleum oil based paint? I wouldn't think it would reach a temperature that would cause problems, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone have an actual image of what the inside of a Flair looks like? I am looking for an image of the wiring (not a schematic), inner panels, etc. Basically, I want to see what is hidden behind all of that beautiful chrome! I am not looking for a picture of the inside of the oven...

Thanks guys! The goal is to reconfigure the kitchen this fall. I have always liked this range hood. Hopefully it makes the cut now that I feel more comfortable knowing it's most likely fiberglass.

Good morning all! I have a "MW Signature" range hood that needs to be removed. We have not decided if we are going to re-use it or not. However, when we opened the top filter portion of the hood, we noticed very questionable filters. 1. Is this asbestos? I wouldn't think they would build...
