Does anyone know if the exterior surface of a Frigidaire Flair could be painted with Rustoleum oil based paint? I wouldn't think it would reach a temperature that would cause problems, but I'm not sure.
The surfaces are neither porcelain or exposed to heat. For ease of application and later touch up I used liquid paint and a foam roller. No drips, runs or worry from over spray. Rustoleum makes an newer product that contains a primer. I used it to paint my daughter's Kitchenaid Turquiose from White. I've never used a pressurized paint that went on so smoothly, easily and had such a lustrous finish.
My Flair has some scratches on either side and there was no way to get a nice touch up. I will probably go with a generic (Rustoleum) epoxy appliance paint unless anyone has other recommendations!
